STEFAN AND ALEX HAIDER

The two brothers, both native Austrians, have together nearly 60 years of fly-fishing experience both in fresh and saltwater under their belt. Stefan accomplished his first Flats Grand Slam in the year 1994 at the age of 25 and finished that week with two more Permit on fly.Alex does not stand far behind, being one of the most complete fishermen and fantastic fly-casters you will likely meet.

Each a professional in every aspect of fly fishing – combined they are one of the most experienced forces in central Europe. All these influences are merging together in their tackle business, AOS Fly Fishing that features all brands and the expertise to equip flyfishermen around the world.

Fly fishing, travel, and photography are their biggest passions. So far they’ve visited the United States, Mexico, the Maledives, the Seychelles, Cuba, Venezuela, the Virgin Islands, Russia, Belize, Slovenia, Croatia, Norway, Sweden and some other countries in the quest of fins and scales.
