Joe Dilschneider

I grew up and learned to fly fish on the warm waters of the mid-west. College and my love of the outdoors took me to Boulder, Colorado and the cold trout streams of the Rocky Mountain West. Began my guide career after graduation, working on the rivers and lakes of Colorado's central mountains. After a brief hiatus into the "real" world, I landed in Ennis, Montana on the Madison River and I'm still here.

Professional fly fishing guide for 27 years and counting....10 seasons guiding flats fishing in the Florida Keys. Many species and destinations under my belt, but the bucket list keeps growing and I'm trying to keep learning.

All these years as an avid fly fisherman and gear-head, have contributed to my current position as owner/outfitter at Trout Stalkers Outfitter & Fly Shop and the Madison River Fishing Company.
