Ian Davis

Ian grew up fly-fishing in the Catskill Mountains and fishing for stripers and blues from Cape Cod to Long Island. Ian has been involved in the fly-fishing industry since the early 1990’s. From 1995 to 2008 he owned Breckenridge Outfitters in Colorado, where he was a full Winston dealer. Ian’s shop was given the “Orvis Endorsed Outfitter of the Year” award a record three times. After leaving Colorado in 2004, Ian became co-owner of Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures, which is a fly-fishing travel company based in Bozeman, Montana. Ian has fished extensively throughout the world in both fresh and saltwater and currently serves as Yellow Dog’s Bahamas Program Director. Ian also guides in Montana during the summer months.
