Capt. Kyle Giampaoli

Captain Kyle grew up in Chico California. He grew up fishing for Salmon, Trout and Steelhead he began guiding at the age of 18. Guiding the Sierra Nevada’s and in Nevada he soon realized that Montana would be his next challenge and moved to Dillon MT. The fabled rivers such as the Big Hole, Beaverhead and Madison rivers were where he called home for nearly 12 years. While guiding in the spring summer and fall his winter was consumed as a sales rep for the Montana Fly Company. He quickly became one of their lead fly designers and has many patterns that are probably in your local fly shop.

His passion for Salt Water came at an early age as his father took him to various destinations to stalk shallow water flats. At the age of 15 when he caught his first Tarpon on fly, the sheer power and acrobatic performance left him amazed and possessed. He moved to Florida in 2005 and began pursuing the Silver King for a living. Currently Capt. Kyle owns and operates Tarpon Daze Charters out of Naples Florida and is married to Patricia Finnegan.
