Capt. Jonathan "Stump" Hamilton

Capt. Jonathan Hamilton (aka Stump) is a fly-fishing guide out of Homosassa FL. Capt. Jonathan is a 7th generation Florida native. Stump grew up fishing the waters of Homosassa at a young age with his dad. Capt. Jonathan is a current member of the Homosassa Guides Association. He specializes in fly fishing the famous flats of Homosassa for Tarpon but, also fishes for redfish, trout, snook and shallow water grouper on fly. Stump also offers shore lunch trips, which is a long-standing tradition in Homosassa. During the winter months not only does he fish for laid up redfish he guides quail hunts at his family’s quail preserve. Homosassa is one of the last places in Florida that has not been affected by development. It's a beautiful place and a great fishing estuary.
