Capt. Curt Hamby
Curt has been guiding for 18 years, starting briefly on the Arkansas in CO, then onto Wyoming and Idaho, floating many days on the South Fork, Teton, Henry’s Fork, Snake and Green Rivers. Home of the Snake River Cutthroat Trout, Curt’s clients are always in search of the dry fly take. When not on the river, he is hosting trips in Andros, Bahamas for bonefish, tarpon and maybe a barracuda or two. When not on the flats, winters are spent working with the Jackson Hole Ski Patrol or until another chance to visit a fishing destination comes along. He has been seen on several fishing television shows and other professional staffs include Clackacraft Driftboats, Scott fly rods, Kaenon Polarized, and Howler Brothers. Curt spends the day off fishing with his wife Shannon and daughter Cadence.
“My 7 plus has caught countless bonefish, barracuda, lemon sharks, 22 lb permit and jumped a 80 lb tarpon; not to mention big hybrid trout on Henry’s Lake. What else can I say, a GREAT reel!”
