The color of the cord makes it easy to find when in a hurry to change flies and tighten the knot properly. This is the 2nd one I have purchased. I couldn't go without it.

This tool is a mut have in my kit. It's imperative for rigging leaders for big critters like tuna and sharks, but is just as useful for inshore species. Very durable and looks great, as always.

Good size. Bought for knot tension. Other features are nice. My gas cap has 2 small spikes. Wish the tool was designed to accommodate those. Overall though , good for the main purpose.

This tool saves your hands and fingers from being cut by braided line when tying slick flourocarbon leaders. Its great for bimini twists on the go as well. Oh, and the bottle opener is a nice touch.

I realize this is an obscure tool for some...but if you use and require a tool like this then you just found it. Extremely high quality, thoughtfully designed, and much more comfortable to use than other similar tools that are too thin and simply stamped. Priceless for knotting heavy fly tippets and tying your own slow pitch assist hooks. I will never be without one.

Great product. Easy to use. Wish that Hatch would add two (2) prongs to gas cap opener for 2 prong cap. Still the knot tensioner is worth the price.
