We know what you're thinking...What does this mean? It’s badass and drastically improved the life expectancy over previous models.
Cutters - Our tungsten carbide cutters have been and always will be the best on the market. We utilized decades of machining experience to create our custom cutting surfaces with an emphasis on abrasion resistance and reliable cuts through mono and fluorocarbon materials. The design has held up and proven itself since the original nippers were launched in 2016.
The Nipper 3 also features a needle post sized for cleaning eyelets from your even your smallest flies.

Purchased the ember nipper. Have used it in the Caribbean cutting heavy floro bite tippets and in NW Montana cutting fine 5x and 6x for small dries. Love the eye hole probe. Great nipper.

I bought the Hatch Nipper 3 in black directly from Hatch. Great looking product and quality lanyard, but the nippers have never been able to cut a 5x-7x tippet. How can you make a nipper that won't easily, and consistently cut light tippet material?

Really nice nippers here have taken it out many times already. Great spring and feel in the hand. Nice packaging, love the lanyard prefer this over my old zinger. Seems built to last a lifetime, def recommend. Thinking about getting some for gifts! Thanks for the great product.
