This blue Iconic Custom Handle looks GREAT on the spool. It was a very nice, sharp looking reel already but the splash of color really makes the Iconic Reel look amazing - especially with the right color line and backing. I've gotten multiple impressive comments from those who've seen it.

I have two Hatch Reels and love that you can customize them with different colored handles. Keep you the awesome products!

Easy to follow instructions, and the color perfectly matched the interior color of the spool. I think it turned out very well.

Great item. Easy to install. Excellent customer service and extremely fast shipping. Well done Hatch.

Easy installation, however the the plastic grommet / washer that sits between the handle and the reel was much larger than the original and would have looked off if I had used it so I used the one that came with real since it was relatively new. The handle was added to the iconic 5+

Hatch is top notch with regards to their products, customer service, and shipping.

I always wanted the handle to match the paint so I'm glad they started making these. Directions were super simple to follow and now I get a custom look

This is not about the handle it self. The handles are great just like the reels, no issues there. My gripe is about the infirmation listed. A 1/8 " allen key will not fit the handle post socket head. Its too loose and will spin, amazingly without even scraching the finish its so loose. 9/64 " will not fit and neither wil 3mm or 4mm. I tried with several different sets of high quality tools. This was my experience with the 4+ and 5+ that i own and the handle kits i bought. So not just a ine off incident. I believe the proper size tool is a 3.5mm allan key which is very uncommon and not typically included in sets. Not sure why hatch deliberately published the incorrect size tool that could cause the customer to strip out the hardware on their handle post? Perhaps they thought since the average angler wouldn't have a 3.5mm handy and the 1/8 is close enough to work. While that may be true during assembly it's not the case for removal of the handle as you can see in the custom handle installation instructions it calls for the use of loctite. The 1/8 wrench will spin and potentially cause damage. Use a 3.5mm allen key if you're trying to remove the handle

Performance matters more than looks, but this does make a great looking reel look better.
